The Civil Rights Movement - An Ongoing Battle
  The United States of the States was built on the  doctrine that all men  ar created equal as  utter in the Declaration of Independence.  however in all actuality, this  bid was moot when deemed unreasonable in reality because of American  bondage and  diversity to follow. Economic and  complaisant discrimination proceeded far  afterward slavery was even abolished. In the 1950s and 60s these challenges were addressed with full  posture and are  gloss over  being discussed today. The rise in grassroots movements confronted these issues pertaining to  civil action and initiated a civil rights movement. This movement influenced  disposal policy, such as The  accomplished Rights Act of 1964,  simply  similarly peoples responsiveness to racial issues. Although, these issues of  racial discrimination are still  at bottom our society, and until there is unity and the  realisation on similar goals, these issues  pass on never go away. The civil rights movement changed political and  complaisa   nt standards for minorities and future progress  pull up stakes challenge the racism still present in  passing(a) life.\nThe issue of racial inequality in America grew  vastly during the 1950s. In the South, grassroots movements  call  caution to civil rights issues  spud up throughout  legion(predicate) states. These grassroots movements brought organization and leaders and gave the ordinary African American a voice. Yet  Confederate states, especially, restricted the lives of African Americans economically, socially, and politically (Roark, 832). Public spaces and schools were segregated along with employment, which kept blacks poor and underappreciated. Protests arose which conjured the attention of the media and white liberals. These protests challenged white institutions, but more dramatically challenged the  despotic Court, the president, and local segregation ordinances.
